Oppose Alfreton Road Incinerator

Help us STOP the incinerator

Stage 1: Judicial Review £6,000 achieved. Stage 2: Court of Appeal £6,000 raised.

£6000 STILL NEEDED to pay for legal costs to reach the campaign’s conclusion

Court of Appeal - raising money

The decision to grant permission for the new test incinerator on the edge of Darley Abbey and Breadsall villages, which will impact other nearby locations like Oakwood and Chester Green, as well as being right next to a park, to nature reserves and literally on the banks of the local river, is now with Court of Appeal.

We still desperately need your help to raise money to continue fighting this decision through the courts. Please go to our donate pages to see how easy it is to give whatever you feel you can.

We’ll be at the Hairy Helmet Relay in Darley Park on June 15th http://hairyhelmetrelay.co.uk/ - running to raise money for the campaign. Come down and sponsor us and cheer us on as we run laps of the park!

There will be further ways to support us coming soon, please watch this space and keep on the look out for updates - hell spread the word that we still need donations to keep our fight going!

The money shown on the Go Fund Me page is still being used to pay the experts who have helped us so far, but we are now raising a new amount for the next steps. Thank you to all who donated then, now and in the near future!
